Nuwera Selected for Wacken Metal Battle Lebanon

Nuwera has been selected to compete in the Wacken Metal Battle 2027 Lebanon National Finals, the first step on the road to Wacken Open Air in Germany, one of the biggest metal festivals in the world.

The final takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Metro Al Madina in Hamra, Beirut. Each competing band plays a 20-minute set of original material in front of a jury and a live crowd.

• Wacken Metal Battle Arabia final: the Lebanon winner goes on to compete in Dubai (date to be announced)
• Wacken Metal Battle 2027: the winner of the Arabia final represents the region in the international Wacken Metal Battle

Come for all of them

Only one band goes through, but this night is a win for Lebanese metal either way. Wrath and Failure To See are putting everything on that stage too, and Phenomy join the night as special guests. Come early, stay for every set, and show all of them the support they deserve. The bigger and louder the crowd, the stronger the whole scene looks.
